Leave Only Footprints exists to raise awareness and participation in green initiatives and Leave No Trace behaviors among visitors to and residents of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
The collaborative effort began in 2007, coordinating city, state, business and individual efforts and resources to ensure the sustainability of our island’s valued natural assets. In 2015, the partnership launched the Beach Litter Program to ensure the health and safety of both Alabama’s white-sand beaches and the beachgoers who while away the hours along our sugar-white sand.
Families return to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach year after year. We are working together to maintain a clean coast for the generations to come. Will you join us?
