footprint on beachHaving great business partners is just good business. And the Leave Only Footprints Green Team business partners are the best. The most obvious are the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach keeping the beaches clean each night

But there are also some notsoobvious partners that help spread education and information about the programLet’s take a look at all the partners in our Green Team.

  • The cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach  provide daily beachcombing services and collection of items left on the beaches after sunset. This helps endangered sea turtles navigate the beach during the nesting and hatching process.
  • The Alabama Coastal Foundation’s annual Coastal Cleanup keeps our beaches beautiful. The ACF also participates in the oyster shell recycling program, sustainability summits and green events planning.
  • Gulf State Park includes miles of beaches and covers 6,000 acres of land. Educational programs are offered here, and the park hosts an annual e-recycling event with Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber.
  • Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism’s two welcome centers have information on beach rules and keeping our beaches pristine. They also work with vacation rental management companies and other businesses to distribute Leave Only Footprints messaging to guests.
  • The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber supports business profitability that promotes good stewardship of the environment. It provides members with tools and information needed for attainable environmental changes.
  • The Mobile Bay National Estuary Clean Water Future partners with more than 42 organizations to provide education on water pollution, and challenges people to adopt environmentally sound habits at home, work and play.
