Noon Year’s Eve at LuLu’s

Bring the whole family to LuLu’s on December 31 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Kids can enjoy various activities, including face painting, a sand castle contest, an inflatable slide, and so much more! When noon strikes, beach balls will fill the air, allowing the littles to ring in the new year without staying up until midnight.

Kids Confetti Drop

Another way to celebrate the new year a little earlier than midnight will be on Main Street and Palms Plaza at The Wharf. Families can come out between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to enjoy various festivities such as a reptile encounter, rock wall, and more. At noon, confetti cannons will shoot off, allowing everyone to pop off the new year!

Reelin’ in the New Year at The Wharf

If you want to end 2022 in the traditional midnight way, head to The Wharf. From 5 p.m. through 12 a.m., reel in 2023 with adult-centered fun AND family-friendly activities. Say goodbye to 2022 when the clock strikes 12 with a marlin drop and fireworks finale.

Magic Christmas in Lights at Bellingrath Gardens and Home 

November 25-January 4

Create a new tradition of admiring gorgeous light displays at Bellingrath Gardens. The magical setting consists of 3 million lights and and 16 scenes. The show is open on New Year’s Eve but closed on New Year’s Day.

Ice Skating Rink

November 11-January 16

Glide right into next year at The Wharf. The ice rink hours vary throughout the season, but New Year’s Eve hours of 10 a.m. until midnight provides a unique way to close out the old year.
