Join us in Gulf Shores this fall to celebrate the annual National Shrimp Festival. The festival will take place October 12-15, 2023, and will boast a whopping 10,000 pounds of shrimp being prepared every day!

It may be the Shrimp Festival, but vendors will also be serving up crab cakes, lobster, Cajun pistols and other delicious, mouthwatering treats.

If the sound of all the delicious food isn’t enough to convince you to head out for the festival, the entertainment and activities will seal the deal:

  • You’ll enjoy more than 100 hours of musical entertainment, including a lineup of national, regional and local acts.
  • Music of all genres is on the schedule, providing options for everyone’s taste.
  • 200 booths will be filled with arts and crafts.
  • Kids can participate in a myriad of activities in the Children’s Activity Village, including face painting, rock climbing, inflatables and much more.
  • A sand sculpture contest offers prizes in several categories – or simply observe the competition and admire the handiwork.
