We’re coming up on the 31st Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup, the day our community and visitors come out to actively clean up those beaches and waterways we enjoy year-round.

Whether it’s just you or your church group, family or organization, we need your help. Come lend a hand to pick up debris from Alabama’s coastal waterways and beaches on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, from 8 a.m. to noon.

You’ll be among the 87,000+ volunteers who have assisted in this event since Alabama joined the International Coastal Cleanup in 1987. The more hands that pitch in, the more benefit to our priceless natural resources.

There are more than two dozen zones set up in Baldwin and Mobile counties, so there’s probably one right in your neighborhood.

Last year our volunteers removed more than 35,000 pounds of trash and 2,000 pounds of recyclable materials in a single day.

This fun event is great for the entire family, so sign up now to get the trash out of the splash.
